The Exhibition Branding Checklist for UAE Trade Shows
Everything a stand needs at a Dubai trade show, from backdrops and roll-ups to badges and giveaways, with the lead times each item needs.

Trade shows punish late decisions. Halls have their own rules, contractors book out, and a missing badge or a banner that arrives the morning after the opening is a wasted stand.
Work through this list four to six weeks before the doors open.
The stand itself
- Backdrop or fabric wall, sized to the stand plan rather than to a standard roll.
- Roll-up or X-banner stands for the corners and the walkway edge.
- Counter or reception wrap, with the logo at standing eye level rather than at the floor.
- Hanging signage if the hall allows it — check height rules before you print.
- Floor graphics and directional signage for large halls.
What the team carries
- Name badges, lanyards and, for large teams, branded polos or shirts.
- Business cards, and a QR code on the stand for anyone who no longer carries them.
- Brochures, one-page product sheets and a folder for the serious conversations.
What visitors take away
Giveaways are judged in one second at the table, and again a month later when the visitor decides whether to keep them. Bottles, power banks, notebooks and tote bags survive that second test; branded pens rarely do unless they are good ones.
Lead times to respect
Printed graphics, four to five working days after artwork approval. Fabricated elements, light boxes and 3D letters, one to two weeks. Branded merchandise with your logo, two to three weeks, longer if it is imported. Anything installed on site depends on the hall's build-up window, which is fixed and unforgiving.
