Ramadan and Eid are the busiest gifting weeks of the UAE year, and the two most common mistakes are ordering late and ordering the same thing for everyone.

This is the timeline we run with clients, and what tends to suit each audience.

Work back from the first week of Ramadan

Eight weeks out: agree the audience, the budget per head and the headcount. This is when to reserve production capacity, because studios fill up.

Six weeks out: approve the gift and the packaging, and sign off a digital proof of anything printed.

Four weeks out: confirm the delivery list, split by office, branch and any recipients who work remotely.

Two weeks out: deliveries begin, so gifts land before the month starts rather than during it.

What suits whom

Clients: premium dates, Arabic sweets or a hamper, boxed in your branding with a hand-written card.
Staff: an iftar box per person, or a shared tray per floor for the whole month.
Senior clients and partners: oud, bakhoor or a leather piece, engraved and presented individually.
